Ceremony at Hall

Ceremony at Hall

Can anyone share inexpensive ideas to make a ceremony in a hall more romantic/personal/unique?

This is all last minute to me and I feel very overwhelmed trying to figure out how to make it special.

we put candles in the windows which looked amazing .
Also we brought in some of our centerpeices and decorated the altar.

i agree with a pp about candles- but also rose petals- you can get really pretty fake ones from michaels or ac moore and if you have a coupon very inexpensive

also- ebay has gorgeous bows that you can use and very reasonable--- and tulle is so inexpensive but so pretty

i agree with the poster who suggested using your centerpieces to decorate the ceremony room. lets you have better floral arrangements and doesn't cost any extra!

Re: Ceremony at Hall

we are doing dim lighting and a candle lit aisle - i want us to stand in a ton of roses - but im afraid of them staining my dress - im not sure if the hall would allow that many either - but if they do i would use the fake red petals so that my dress wouldn't get dirty or stained from them....

yelley was your ceremony dim? do you have anymore ceremony photos yet? im dying to see!

What did was line the aisle with rose petels as well as battery operated votives, and I had them dim the lgihts a lot.

They didn't use all the rose petels I proveided them with, so it could have used more. And I should ahve gotten 3 or 4 sizes of the votives to make them stand out more. I put them in a frosted votive holder so people couldn't tell they were fake.

I'll find you a pic....

i think a string trio/quartet also adds a lil something extra.
