Is anyone having their ceremony at westbury gardens? I was hoping to have my ceremony there and take phots right after. Is it expensive?

Re: ceremony at old westbury gardens?
i am also curious about OWG. I would love to take pictures there and that would be a plus to have the ceremony there, if its a reasonable price... anyone know how much it is just for pictures? and how long you get there?

I've heard it is $400-$500 for just pics. I didn't know that ceremonies could be held there, but I sure it will be sooooooo beautiful.

So I guess you can't have a reception there? I wish you could... it looks so amazing!

I have never been there but it looks beautiful in photos and I just found out that they have started to allow ceremonies to take place there.. For me it would be perfect becasue we would take pics right after and it is only 10 min away from my reception hall. $500 just for pictures is insane. I can't imagine what they would charge for a ceremony.

Re: ceremony at old westbury gardens?
I'm having my ceremony there. I have pics in my album. It is absolutely gorgeous there. The price depends on how many people you have attending. I'm having about 150 to my reception but because my ceremony is 4:00 on a Friday i figure only about 50 will probably come. up to 50= $1000 51-100= $1500 101+= $2000 Call and ask for Diana Filbry. She handles all the ceremoines and pictures. If you pay for the ceremnoy there is no extra fee for pics. Hope this helps!

Re: ceremony at old westbury gardens?
There are two locations. One is beautiful but your guests will have to stand during the ceremony. They don't put chairs in that section. The other section is new and guests can sit there. It's not as beautiful as the other location but it is a little more private. The garden is open to the public so we opted for the more private location. I have pics but i'm not on my computer so I'll post them later when I get home.

Re: ceremony at old westbury gardens?
I know that I called OWG about 2 months ago and went and looked at it for pics and depending on the time you arrive to OWG depends on the price. I think they said before 2:30 it was like $200 or so. I know that my time I wanted to go there was about 5:30 and they wanted to charge $475 just for pics for an hour and a half.
To me, that was way too much money. I decided against it.
