Ceremony at RH

Ceremony at RH

For those that are having the ceremony at the RH.

1. What type of ceremony will you have?
2. How long will the ceremony be?
3. How much is the officiant?

I'm getting prices that range about $400-500 for a Saturday evening wedding. Can that be right?

I had my ceremony at the RH. It was a non religious ceremony. The ceremony total was a half hour and the prices you mentioned are normal. I was quoted the same prices you mentioned for a Sunday afternoon wedding. Check out Pastor April...she's wonderful.

We are having a ceremony that will hopefully be between 5-10 min. We hopefully will be getting married outside so it will be short and sweet. We are not religious at all. I refuse to pay $400 or $500. I don't know who we're using yet.

FH and I are having a non-religious ceremony. It will be 30 mins long and from calling officiants they will cost about $400-500 and I got prices from RH's for the ceremony and they were in the $400-900 range.

we had a religious ceremony at our RH that lasted about 15 min. and cost around $500. I think that is the typical price for an officiant.

I am having an interfaith ceremony so I will have a Deekan and a Rabbi.

It will be about 30 min. long

I am paying $1300 for both of them.

We had an interfaith ceremony at NRC - pics in my review

The ceremony was about 1/2 hour

The prices you posted are about average. We had 2 officiants, a Rabbi and a Monsignor, and I think we paid around that to each of them

I'm also getting married at my RH.

Our officiant is custom writing our ceremony with us. It will have just a touch of religious reference.
Our ceremony will be about 30 minutes.
I'll FM you the price.

I highly recommend Pastor April! We love her!!

We had our ceremony at the RH, it was about 15-20 min. The RH charged us a fee per chair (I think it was $1.00) and we used a JP. By law a JP cannot charge you for a marriage ceremony, so we gave him a Thank you card with tip.

We had a secular, intercultural ceremony presided by a retired judge. The ceremony was about 15-20 minutes. The officiant was $300 for a Sunday afternoon wedding.

Re: Ceremony at RH

We were originally going to have it at The Thatched Cottage, it was going to be 20 minutes, and we were going to have a Deacon or judge and it was going to cost $650...

Which is BELIEVE IT OR NOT....cheaper than the $800 'donation' to the church!

I just hate that they call it a 'donation'

My ceremony will be done by a Catholic priest. (Ordained Roman Catholic priest, currently a pastor at a Reformed Catholic church which allows priests to do weddings outside of the Church)
The ceremony will be 30 mins long.
The church donation fee (tax deductible) is $500.

We're getting married at the hall (NRC) and our Rabbi is officiating. He does it for free because my family belongs to the temple (even though we're not getting married at the temple) but I think my parents are going to make some kind of donation. There's no required amount like some churches have though.

My RH was a $750 fee for the ceremony on site, but it includes decorations. Officant fee was around $300.

Our ceremony was at our RH and last about 20 minutes. We used REv. Thomas McCormick (he is an LIW vendor) and he was great to work with. His fee was $500 and it was an additional $750 to have our ceremony at our RH and that included ceremony decorations and coffee & tea prior to the ceremony.

Re: Ceremony at RH

We are having a 1/2 hr. ceremony at our RH. I am looking into officiants now. I am considering Pastor April. I hear so many good things about her! We want a civil, non-religious ceremony in which we write our own vows. We are on a tight budget so I considered looking into a JP. I spoke to the husband of the Town Clerk today. If she did it, we would have to do a ceremony with her in the town, and then have her come to the RH because she does not have jurisdiction where our RH is. Sounds like too much work lol.
