Ceremony at RH

Ceremony at RH

I'm so full of questions so please bare with me. But for those brides who are having their ceremony at the RH are you getting a limo and if so for how long?

My bridal party and I are getting dressed at nearby hotel and grooms men are getting dressed at RH bridal suite. I'm thinking of getting limo for the entire day (8 hrs) to take my girls to hotel then to RH. Groom is renting an SUV for the weekend.

What are you doing?

This was a big Q for me too but my mom made a stink about limos so we got one (and she even shared the cost). I was against it but she said it was stupid for me to get out of a taxi or my dad's car haha... To be honest though, of she didn't intervene, that's what I would be doing b/c I feel like NO ONE SEES YOU so it is unnecessary. I understand a limo to a church etc but I am getting dressed at the RH in the suite, so I will be in the limo with jeans and a t-shirt!

we're both getting ready at the RH and doing pics before the ceremony. We are not having limos, I've been in a lot of weddings and have never had limos because everyone arrives on their own way before ceremony so no one every needed the limo and nonone every saw us arrive.

questions to consider:

1. Are you taking pics before the ceremony at the RH?

2. are you picking up all the girls with the limo, if not do you expect the girls to drive to the hotel and just using the limo to take them to the ch and they will have to get the cars later?

3. are the girls getting dropped off at the hotel and meeting their dates later who will drive them home?

4. Can you just get a town car for yourself (since you will have your dress on) and you can hire a second town car to take you back to the hotel at night instead of paying a full 8 hours.

Just remember, if no one sees you arrive, you don't necessarily need to show up in a limo, the only people who will see you is the staff of your RH.

I wasn't going to do any limos at all originally. FH and the men are getting ready at the RH. I am getting ready at my parents. All the girls will be there. I decided to get a limo for us. And a town car to pick us up at the end.

I'm sleeping at the RH's hotel the night before and all my girls are meeting me there to get ready.
So no limo for me-
FH is getting ready at our house which is 30 minutes away so I'm getting a limo for him and his boys-
and only for the ride there- so like 2 hours.

if you are just using limo from hotel to RH then why are you getting it for 8 hours, you will pay 8 hours for a limo to just sit outside so just do pick up and drop off. I had limo's but got married in a church, had them pick me up from house in queens to another location in queens for church, then 2 picture locations after also in queens then bring us to RH in LI. And i'll say that with all that i didnt even have it for 8 hours. Picked me up at 2pm and got to church in time for 2:30 ceremony, but picked up dh at 1:30pm. Ceremony ended at 3pm and after we went to take pics and were taking pics until 6pm then 6pm headed to Rh and got there at 7pm. I went to several locations and had to travel from queens to LI and only had limos for about 6 hours. Remember that all packages for weddings are based on 3 hours, anything over 3 hours you are charged extra by the hour. For example if a limo costs $1k for 3 hours, anything over 3 hours is about $125-150 per hour extra. If they pick your girls up from hotel and then to RH, the limo will just sit outside and you will be paying for it to sit outside. IS it bc you want them to take the girls back to the hotel, if so most limo companies offer free pick up service. If you notice most ppl get the limo's only up until the time the reception starts and then drops them off and leaves, the limo's dont sit outside and wait for bride and groom until they are done. Our limos dropped us off at 7pm and left. But our limo company sent a limo for us at the end of the night for pick up service and it was something they threw in for free

I'm getting dressed at a hotel and then going to the RH for pics. I'm going to do a 3hr package. The limo can make a couple of trips and they usually throw in pick up at the end of the night. I would just need it for me an fh though. The girls are going to most likely leave with their dates or significant others.

no limos for us, our hotel is right next to the RH so everyone is dressing at the hotel and walking next door. where we are doing pics and our ceremony as well.

I personally don't see why you would need a limo for 8hrs? Noone will see you being droped off? and if it's just to bring you a few blocks from the hotel to RH and back can you get a limo for like an hr in the beginning and an hr at the end? If a compnay says they have to wait for you see if you can go through two companies for an hr each. They won't know you hired two.

Re: Ceremony at RH

My RH is only 20 minutes away from my parents' house, which is where I'll be getting ready, so we weren't even going to do limos but I think we've decided to do a pick up/drop off limo thing because there's no point in paying for 3+ hours if we won't need it. The prices are so much cheaper too if you just do a pick up/drop off. Then just have your car waiting at the RH at the end of the night or even pay for another pick up/drop off to bring you home. It'll still be a lot cheaper than having paid for a few hours of limo service where they'll just be standing around anyway.

I had 2 limos b/c they were apart of the RH package we got.
It was a waste if you ask me. I didnt get any limo pics (which I wanted).
