Ceremony at St. Marys East Islip

I was curious to know if anyone had or attended a wedding ceremony at St Marys in East Islip. I want to know how long the ceremony was approximately. I know most are like 25 30 minutes, but I heard its a 1 hour ceremony at St. Marys East Islip, Please let me know, I am very stressed.

TIA

I think that it's 20-30 minutes for the ceremony only and an hour if you do a full mass (with communion etc). I'd recommend checking with your priest. Good luck!

He told us if it starts at 2pm by the time its over and we leave it will be 3:15pm. And thats a ceremony, does that make sense? Anyone been to or attended one at St. Marys East Islip?

did you SPECIFY that you only want a ceremony, not a full mass?

We did specify Ceremony, and we also have Father Steve. He gave us the booklet to pick the readings and prayers. How do I make sure that I have a ceremony, he circled what we have to pick, if we have a full mass we would have a communion right? I just want to make sure he knows we are only doing ceremony, did you get the pamphlet yet at what to pick? How can I tell from what he circle that its only ceremony?

Thanks.

A ceremony usually just ends with a nuptial blessing, the sign of peace and then the recessional. If its a Mass - it will have another piece after the blessing that says something like 'The Preparation of the Table' and 'Communion Rite'. That indicates a Full Mass.

Hope that helps.
