Ceremony at the hall

What is your program like? You probably only have a half hour like me, and I am getting worried cause we have alot of people participating in the wedding.

Mine is a half hour also....but I think that we are going to have to take out one of the readings to time it correctly. I wanted 2...but I think that if I keep the 2nd we might cut into the cocktail hour...and truthfully my guests want the full seafood bar...more than they want to hear a reading.

An experienced officiant should be able to tell how long it is by what you have planned.

When we first worked it out my minister said, ok ten minutes and I thought that was too short so we added a reading, song, Blessing of the Hands and the wine ceremony/breaking of the glass.

If there isn't enough time, you could always include the second reading on the program, or use a poem.

We're having our wedding ceremony from 12:30-1:00, and I was wondering if there will be time for this also. Your officiant should be able to give you a better idea.

We havent planned that aspect just yet. But we really aren't planning on too many readings. We want a quick ceremony...20-25 minutes tops.

We are just listing the grandparents, parents, and bridal party...as well as a brief description on each ritual. We will also include a note thanking everyone and remembering our loved one's.

my program is LONG! But I don't care. I wanted to include everything. I hope the ceremony will only be about 30 minutes though. When I do a 'mock' one...it takes about 15-20, but that doesn't include everyone walking down and all...so I have to add on for that.
