Ceremony Flowers

Thinking about CH CP, i got thinking about the ceremony and what everyone was doing! Once we realized how much it would cost to do fresh flowers in the church, we started looking into alternatives.

My Mom is making these wreathes out of tissue paper flowers for me. She's making about 20, so one on every other pew. I don't think i even want to bother with flowers for the front of the church.

We're going to bring them to CH, and reuse them as CP with hurricane candles in the center.

What is everyone else doing?

that's a great idea! i think we MIGHT use pew bows. my sister made some for her wedding and they are not any particular color. not really using flowers anywhere else during the ceremony.

I am getting two arranagements for the alter and decorating 5 pews on each side (alternating). That is it.

those are adorable!

my church said no flowers on the alter for my date because it is lent and the next day is palm sunday. im thinking of doing something simple for the pews instead of flowers and save the money. those wreaths are just perfect!

We are doing 12 hydrangea. One on each end chair.. not sure how they will be spaced out - but they will be reused after the ceremony and put around something at the reception...
