This is what we picked:
First Reading Genesis 2:18-24 'The two of them become one body.'
Second Reading Corinthians 12:31-13:8a 'Love never fails.'
Gospel Reading Matthew 7:21, 24-29 “A wise man built his house on a rock.”

Our officiant gave us a bunch of things to read and put together to customize the ceremony... did you get anything like that?

Sean and I just did this last night... I am so excited. We picked readings that were meaningful to us... acutally only one is directly related to marriage... the rest are more about living a good life and being a good person.
Old Testament: Tobit - 8:4-9 ...'and they lived together to a happy old age. '
Psalm: I was sneaky and it's not technically from the Book of Pslams but it is the Canticle of Mary from Luke 1:46-55 'Proclaim the greatness of god, rejoice in God, my Savior.' It's musical setting is very special to me and it is musically set up as a psalm... hopefully the priest will be okay with it....
New Testament: Romans 12:3-13
Gospel: Matthew 5:1-12a 'The Sermon on the Mount ' (the Beatitudes)
