thanks!

Welcome, Good Afternoon everyone. We are here in support of Guywholikesshortgirls and Ashortgirl as they take the exciting and meaningful step of joining in marriage. Everyone here has played a pivotal role in their lives, for that the couple is grateful as you extend your friendship today.

It’s fitting that we celebrate their relationship and future here, in this lovely garden, not far from where they shared their first kiss. In that spirit, I’ll briefly retrace the history of bride and groom.
Guywholikesshortgirls and Ashortgirl met through mutual friends, they discovered their compatibility quickly. Over time and many conversations, they grew closer. With their shared interests and values, they swiftly discovered there was no place else they’d rather be. Commitment came easy, as they found comfort and ease in each others company. From the beginning they learned a great deal from each other, each exposing the other to new, fulfilling things like wine, music, and travel. It is said, that in choosing a lifelong partner, we are choosing the one who will witness our changes and shape our maturation as well. This is the case with Guywholikesshortgirls and Ashortgirl. They always guiding one another to grow, and like most successful relationships, they choose to grow together.
Through the varying times, they chose to keep their mutual love and respect for each other and the relationship a priority. A practice, they assure to continue as they start this new part of their lives together.

I ask now for xyz to come up for a reading.
- Thomas Kempis quote
- Albert Camus quote
- Percy Bysshe Shelly quote

At this time, I’d like to honor, and name those absent from us.
(Here, we’ll name deceased relatives), and dear friends. You too have marked their lives. You are remembered everyday.

The Bride and Groom will now share their personal vows to each other, and exchange the rings. Guywholikesshortgirls and Ashortgirl, if you are able to keep the vows you take here today, out of a desire to love and be loved by the other person fully, without limitation, then your life will have joy and the home you have established will be a place in which you both will find the direction of your growth, your freedom, and your responsibility.

Do you come here today freely, and willingly?
“We do”

Will you uphold your vows, with honesty and care?
“We will”

Please place your hands on each others hearts, symbolizing your continuing efforts in protecting one another.
(hand off bouquet, place hands)

Ashortgirl, please say your vow.
“xyz”

Guywholikesshortgirls, please say your vow.
“xyz”

(Exchange rings, take back bouquet)

You have forged a deep bond and have voiced your promise to nurture that bond as you move forward in your lives. By the authority vested in me by the State of New York and in this company I pronounce you husband and wife!
You may kiss the bride!
Ladies and Gentleman, Guywholikesshortgirls and Ashortgirl!
