Ceremony Location

Hi girls -

Most of you know I've been trying to work out the logistics of having my ceremony at a friend's waterfront home. FH didn't think it could work, but after I said OK we'll have it someplace else he had a change of heart and agreed to go back and look at it. (he had only been there once during a party). We did that yesterday, and FH agreed to have the ceremony there.

In addition, the rain this past weekend really freaked me out, since we didn't have a backup plan for rain. Well, my friend (who is amazing!) has graciously offered the use of the inside of the house in the event of rain on the big day. He basically gave me my choice of rooms in his house. We chose the covered porch which overlooks the water so we still get the view. He has also offered to put up a canopy over the front stairs leading to the house, and will serve my guests champagne and little nibbles.

I am so overwhelmed by his generosity!!! The house is itself an antique - built around 1820, and is just stunning! I am so happy this is coming together!!
