ceremony music, 1 or 2 songs for processional?

I met with the organist/vocalist and she said that I will have to pick out 3 songs for the ceremony...
-processsional
-Psalm
-reseccional

I am wondering if most people use two songs for the processional though....I know I want to walk in to the bridal chorus-wagener but I want the bridal party to walk in to something different. I am wondering why she said 1 song, what is most common? Will everyone walk in to the bridal chorus then???

I used two songs. My BP walked into Cannon in D and I walked into the Bridal Chorus.It's your day if you want two songs make sure they make that happen for you.

I did the same thing. I think it's the norm to have two different songs - one for the bridal party and the bridal march for the bride. The way I saw it was that this will be the one and only time I get to walk down that aisle and I was going to do it to the traditional bridal march.

ITA. I haven't met with my church vocalist/organist yet, but I got a sheet with music on it and I am specifically told to choose two songs, one for the bridal party and one for the bride.
I think you should definately state that you want two separate songs.
