I think I am going to book Counterpoint for my ceremony music. I need help deciding what kind of instruments to get and how many. The ceremony will be outside at the Huntington Townhouse.
We do not want a vocalist, brass, or harp!

Re: Ceremony Music
i was told by a professional musician to be careful when selecting an instrument for an outside ceremony i.e. a flute and harp sound is not as powerful as compared to say, a trumpet. I can't remember what she said about violin, but being in the string family i think it was a no go as well. come to think of it, when i attended an outdoor ceremony i was in the back and could not hear the violin solo. it totally depends on the size and space though... just something to keep in mind...

I think that maybe a flute, violin and another string (bass) would be perfect. I love the flute!

My Jazz trio is a flute, a guitar and a bass. But they're Jazz.
