Ceremony Music

Hi ladies,

I need help. I can't pick a song for my bridesmaids to walk down the aisle. Also, do I need a separate song for the moms or can I use the same?

I'm walking to pachabel's canon. Any suggestions to the girls?

Re: Ceremony Music

my faves for ceremony music are:

Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring

Canon in D

and Trumpet Voluntary

(you can listen to a sample of all these at royalbrass.com)

I think I am doing one song for the grandparents and parents to come in to and bm's same song I think....then I get my own song - Trumpet Voluntary!

Can Trumpet Voluntary be performed without a trumpet or will it sound stupid? I have a flute, violin, and cello.

I think it will sound fine with a flute, violin and cello.

Good luck.

Re: Ceremony Music

I'm also walking into Canon. We're using Largo from Sonata in A Major (Correlli) for the BM's and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (Bach) for family.
