brides who've already set up the ceremony.... does your DJ for the reception typically also provide music for the ceremony or does the reception hall?
i booked jericho terrace and am doing the ceremony in the skylight chapel and am thinking of booking in the mix as DJ's... but on their contract they didn't say they'd do music for the ceremony.

Re: ceremony music
you have to ask them if they will do the music for your ceremony as well. it will probably cost a little extra since u'd be adding more time to their contract. i dont see why they wouldnt add it to your contract if you asked them.

Re: ceremony music
they should be able to do music for your ceremony. for my dj that was part of the basic package.

Re: ceremony music
the DJ usually can. for me, it was a separate addition. If i wanted it, it was more money. I went with a string trio instead.

Re: ceremony music
My DJ will also be doing my ceremony music, but at an extra cost. It's not part of the contract.
Yes, most DJ's will provide ceremony music. Just make sure you have it in your contract when you book.

Re: ceremony music
You have to set that up with him or hire you own music. My DJ charged me $100.00 for our ceremony music, he did a great job I had 3 different songs.

Re: ceremony music
Every DJ company is different. With mines, I had to pay extra for the music. I also had 3 songs played and it went really well. Speak with your entertainment company to confirm this.

Re: ceremony music
you can ask the DJ - they may charge you extra for it but they should be able to do it for you....
we are having a string trio but im nervous about it for some reason - i hope they sound good....the first time i'll hear them play is the wedding a guy FH works with once in awhile (our percussionist) hires them out - he promised they are good and gave us a good deal so we took it....FH has 100% confidence in him but im still a little nervous!
