Re: ceremony music

I am not getting married at the church but I plan on using the following:

Pre-Ceremony: Joshua Radin 'Today', Ben Harper 'Forever'
Prelude: Forest Gump Suite
Bridal Party: 'Heavenly Day' Patti Griffin
Bride: 'Come Away with Me' Nora Jones
Recessional: 'Patience' GNR

Forest Gump Suite is really pretty and I believe is allowed in a lot of churches.

Re: ceremony music

just a warning, catholic churches typically don't allow 'modern' songs, only classical songs..... but depending. I know a girl who really wanted to walk out to 'Somewhere over the rainbow' by the hawaiian dude and they let her, but they had to play a hymn first. So they stood up at the altar for like 3 minutes till the song was over before they walked out, it was weird lol

Re: ceremony music

For our wedding:

Prelude (Guest are arriving):
Arioso
'You're Beautiful' James Blunt
'100 Years' Five For Fighting

Processional Wedding Party Entrance:
'Canon in D'

Bridal Entrance: 'Everything' Lifehouse

Interlude(Different Moments in the Ceremony): 'Only Time' Enya

Recessional(Pronouncement of Husband & Wife): 'Slide' Goo Goo Dolls

Postlude (Guest Are Leaving): Air on G String

It depends if you're having a traditional ceremoy
or a non-traditional ceremony with modernized songs. Most brides are leaning towards modern songs instead of the traditional flute music. It'll definitely put a twist if you're looking to have a one of a kind wedding with modern songs.
