I posted last week that my ceremony music cancelled on me
anyway, im torn on what to do now...
should i hire new ceremony music or ask my dj to come early and play my songs (my ceremony is at the rh)
i'm not sure if paying almost a $1000 for ceremony music is worth it????
opinions please....what are you doing/or have you done for ceremony music?

Re: ceremony music
thanks...it was someone i knew too!
live music was something i wanted, fh could care less....so maybe the dj is just the easiest/cheapest thing to do at this point!

Re: ceremony music
Maybe you can find someone on craigslist that is a student at a college and they may charge less and you get live music.

Re: ceremony music
I would suggest calling local universities with music programs and seeing if they have students willing to play (my boss said he did this). I also have a contact # of someone I booked that played at a friend's wedding and I booked them to do my ceremony music, but I am honestly a little weary as communication has not been the best and I just hope they show up-- so I don't know if I would really recommend them at this point but I am too close to change things now. FM me for more info.

Re: ceremony music
Believe it or not, we had a band at our wedding who was going to do the ceremony music (just keyboard) but we had songs with words and decided to hire a dj to do the ceremony. Our ceremony was at the RH and we wanted music for the 1/2 hour before the ceremony too.
