ceremony music?

What type of ceremony music are you having? Live instrumental, Or are any of you having your ceremony done by the dj?

I'm having my ceremony at the RH so I can do either but I'm not sure yet which I prefer! Thoughts?

We're having a string trio for our ceremony. Since we're also getting married at the RH, the strings will also play at the CH, along with a jazz trio (one inside, one outside)

Re: ceremony music?

For those of you doing dj ceremony music, would you mind sharing your song choices? I need to get thinking about this and have no idea where to start! You can FM me!

Re: ceremony music?

i actually just figured this out last night. lol.

bridal party processional - 'cannon in d' - j. pachelbel

my entrance - the traditional 'bridal chorus' - r. wagner

and for the recessional - the traditional 'wedding march' - felix mendelssohn

my dj had given us a list of recommended songs.

Re: ceremony music?

Due to tight budget i'm only doing the dj playing music for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

If I could afford it I would either have a singer (Sheri Miller!!), a harpist or a string trio.
