I'm going to be having a pianist at my ceremony (well almost definitely). I already have some really good songs that the bridal party will be walking out to, but I wanted something special for when I walk down the aisle.
I want it to be a modern song, nothing classical. I also want it to sound good as an instrumental piece, but have lyrics that are sweet. It would also help if it had some dramatic part to it where we could time it that I would end up right at the top of the aisle at that moment.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love them!!!
Also, if you have any ideas for cute, fun songs for the recessional, that would be a big help too!

I'm using the luckiest by Ben folds. I don't think there's a big dramatic part but the words are very sweet and its already played on the piano so you'll know what it sounds like.

I just went to a wedding where the bride walked down the aisle to the instrumental version of 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri. Their first dance was the same song only with the lyrics. I love the song to begin with but the instrumental version was beautiful!

Stacey I can't even tell you the amount of hours I've spent obsessing over ceremony music.

Simone, FH thinks I'm insane. He said if YouTube gets money every time someone watches a video, I'm singlehandedly keeping them in business. It's difficult bc there's a lot of songs I like, but when I hear the instrumental piano version they sound cheesy.
