CEREMONY MUSIC HELP- prelude and processional?

I looked at all of those websites that list the music but they are not that updated.

I want a non traditional songs that are sorta new, but not too funky.

Any suggestions of slowish/medium love songs?

I like cannon in D for me or lost in this moment- by big and rich if its words)

This crap is soo confusing

please help me make a decision..i need to do programs and want to put the songs on it.

Thanks!!

We're using Canon in D for our processional and Allegro Maestoso for our recessional.

i'm walking down the aisle to 'over the rainbow' by israel kamakawiwoole. and i think we're gonna use 'come away with me' by nora jones for the recessional.

here is a link to a playlist i made of some songs you might like that we are thinking of using during our ceremony...notice that 'I LOVE N.Y.E.' has no words, and it's really pretty...it's from the soundtrack from the movie about a boy and it was also played in the episode of sex and the city when harry proposes to charlotte. it's really pretty after the first little trumpet horn...maybe you'd like to walk down the aisle to that!

i think you should walk down the aisle to the 'thong song' and the recessional should be 'ice ice baby'

i think that could help you achieve the non-traditional vibe you're looking for

My Bp walked down the aisle to 'By My Side' by Sade and I walked into a cover of the Smiths song 'PLease PLease Please let Me Get What I Want' by Dream Academy-- it was played during the museum scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I'm using the thong song for both the procession and recession. I think it brings symmetry to my ceremony.

My nanny already called that song for her special dance during the reception so I dont want to step on any toes there

we used canon in D for the processional and bp, then i walked down to plainsong by the cure. i'm a huge cure fan, so i had to walk down the aisle to them. for the recessional we used regret by new order. i'm a new wave junkie, what can i say? those are def non- traditional, but i don't know what kind of music or feeling you're going for.
