You should try www.gigmasters.com. It's kinda like the e-bay for music vendors, but not really. What you do is fill out a short info form telling them what you're looking for and what's your price range is and the vendors will e-mail you back with their prices/bids.

I 've received several from them and the prices were great. I booked a 2hour string trio for $600.

But here are a other vendors I've ran across on my search:

The Capriccio Ensemble (They played for Jerry Seinfield's wedding)
Sterling Music Ensemble (They have excellent musicians)
Dynasty Entertainment (I booked them, they're so reasonable and are in most of the modern bride magaxines and played for Liza Minnelli)

These were all the people on gigmasters.com.
I know Sterling have harps and flutes.

Let me know if you need addit'l info. I just finished this whole part of planning myself...so I know what it's like!

I second Gigmasters.

Harps are hard, Janet King charges like $500 for herself. A flute and a guitar or another string would be more affordable. The Brooklyn Conservatory has a Find-A Musician service for $100 per person per hour.

Try the places/people on my budget vendor page:
