For those using ceremony musicians, what kind of instruments will they be playing?
We have Violin and (flute or clarinete), and someone said that it wont sound right. That we need a keyboard and violin. Does anyone know about music? How will that sound?

I think a flute and a violin will sound beautiful together but if you're not sure, see if you can get a cd or something from the band with samples of just those two instruments together.
We're having a harpist.

I am a flutist and I can tell you that flute and violin sound fine together. Violin and clarinet will not sound great together. The only thing about violin and flute is that they play mostly in the same register, but I am picky about that. They will sound beautiful, though.

I'm having a flute, violin and a pianist, but if I only had 2 people I would drop the pianist in a heartbeat. I love the flute and violin sound together

when you say in the same register, do you mean there will be no contrast? Would you still recommend to get that over a pianist and one of them?
