Ceremony on site on Long Island?

Ceremony on site on Long Island?

My fiance and I are looking for a reception site that also does ceremonies on site. This sounds so simple but we want to get married in the winter and most of the halls we've seen do the ceremony int he same room as the reception. I am not crazy about the idea. So I'm wondering:

1) Does anyone have any suggestions of halls on Long Island that have a separate room for the ceremony?

and

2) Does anyone have pictures of their ceremony done in their reception room that they would be willing to share? I'm having trouble picturing the rooms looking different and some sites have pictures of the ceremonies while others do not.

Thanks! This is my first post on this site so hopefully I'm doing this right!

most RH have a separate area for ceremonies!!!

Are you looking for Nassau/Suffolk? Do you prefer indoor/outdoor??

Congrats and welcome!

Woodbury Country Club usually does the ceremonies outside or in the same room as the reception ... but they have a wall that hides the tables and whatnot so you don't see them. Then, the CH is outside in a heated tent (in the winter) ... during that hour, WCC sets up the RH tables and whatnot ...

it's not exactly what you asked for, but it's the best answer i have for you

good luck!

The Carltun does a really nice ceremony. If you go on a Sunday my mother will be your bridal attendant

Welcome and congrats!

The Swan Club has a separate area for their ceremonies.

Eta: It's not just a separate room, it's a separate small structure entirely, and it's in their gardens

Most of our families are from Suffolk but we have looked at some places in Nassau as well.

We're getting married in January or February so the ceremony would have to be indoors.

Thanks!

North Ritz Club has a separate room specifically for ceremonies.

My venue has a separate room for ceremonies as well. Here's a pic of the ceremony room that I found online.

I think Chateau La Mer has a separate chapel. Its in Lindenhurst.

How do you feel about the ceremony in the same room as the reception, but you break for CH and go into another room?

I was just at Westbury Manor for a wedding like that, and it was beautiful. You probably wouldn't even know it was the same room, except that you walked the same way that you came.

I had my ceremony at North Ritz and the room looked beautiful! I can't access my facebook right now at work but there is one picture I am thinking of that is great and will illustrate how nice the room looked. Check back tonight!

Most RHs do have ceremony space ... some nicer than others ...

If you look at the info under her name - she is getting married at Pine Hollow Country Club.

I got married at the North Ritz Club - here is a picture of the ceremony room.

My venue--Milleridge Cottage has a stunning room for the Ceremony. I fell in love as soon as I saw it. We are also getting married in the Winter :)

I know Chateau Briand does.

The Milleridge Cottage does the ceremony in their beautiful Atrium room and then has everyone go out to the 'lobby' area while they set up the CH. The reception itself is in the main room. We did a buffet meal for our wedding and that was in the atrium room. The room is *gorgeous*!!!!

Here's a pro photo from our wedding:
