So excited - we booked the date with the church but I'm confused about having a mass. I said yes and they told me I could change my mind at any time. I'll ask them more about it when I go to fill out the paperwork but I was wondering what everyone else was doing?

Re: Ceremony Poll
We weren't offered a mass, so a ceremony it is, which due to timing is actually working out better for us...

Re: Ceremony Poll
We asked to have a mass to include more family in our ceremony (FH has 6 siblings!) but now we're second guessing due to time constraints.

Re: Ceremony Poll
We are having a mass. I am a very active in my church, so to me if I did not have a full mass I really would not be married in the eyes of God.

Re: Ceremony Poll
I didn't want a mass, since we don't go to church much, and I'm not that confortable there, but we weren't really given a choice since we are both Catholic, the preist thinks there is no reason not to. FH still wants to try & get out of it.

Re: Ceremony Poll
I wanted a communion service,(we dont call it a mass), but he is catholic and I am lutheran and we are getting married in my church so they wont go up for communion anyway. I think its will just be a wedding service.

Re: Ceremony Poll
We are not having a mass. Our opinion was to have a shorter service. If people would like to make communion they can go to a regular church service. Ooops did that sound evil Guess I know where I am going
