Does anyone have any idea about order of seating of parents/grandparents/stepparents/ etc for the ceremony? I've been googling and can't seem to find straight answers.
Do the Parents of the Groom walk down together?
Where do stepmothers fit in?
What is the correct order?
I can't believe I Don't have this figured out already. If anyone has a good resource please share. Even my Emily Post book doesn't have great details on this. Thanks so much.

DH's dad wasn't there, so we just had my mom and his mom walk down the aisle together

I was thinking its:
Grooms Parents Brides mom Grandparents on his side Grandparents on Bride's side BM and GM MOH Bride
Since I don't know the family dynamic its hard to give the right answer... I think that the with step parents, it totally depends on how they are with everyone. If any parents are re-married each can walk in with spouse or if you and FH don't want them involved, then the step parents don't have to walk down the aisle at all.
As for the dad's new wife I would ask your mom about if she would want her to walk down the aisle since the dad walks the bride in.. unless you want her too.. also, it probably would change if the step parents are significantly helping out with the wedding.. then I'd prob say try to include them with that.

My friend who got married 2 years ago did this.
Groom and Best Man Seating of the grooms grandparents Seating of the brides grandparents Seating of the grooms father & Stepmother Seating of the grooms mother (she was walked down by one of the ushers) Bridal Party Bride w/ both of her parents
You can do any variation you want.

i dont think there is a right or wrong way...its your wedding do what you want!
here was our processional:
grandparents step mother with groomsman bridal party best man/maid of honor groom with parents flower girl me with parents

We did this:
1. Grooms aunt wheeling grooms grandfather 2. Grooms parents (walked down together even though they are divorced) 3. My dad, stepmom, and grandmother 4. My stepdad, his mom, and he wheeled his dad (I consider them my grandparents) 5. Bridesmaids/groomsmen 6. Maid of Honor 7. Matron of Honor 8. Mom and I
