when you get married in the RH how do your guests hear the officiant, readers, and you and FH say your vows? i've never been to a ceremony at the RH and was wondering how people are going to be able to hear us when we say our vows and how they will hear our readers?? is this a dumb question?

Re: Ceremony Question
they usually put a mic in the room -- talk to your RH sometimes there is a cost involved.

Re: Ceremony Question
actually some videographers provide a microphone for the groom to wear(you can not see it) which not only everyone gets to hear but it is better sound quality on your video find out if yours does that- the officiant may also have a microphone

Re: Ceremony Question
We were at a wedding this past October and the ceremony was at the RH...they didn't have mics and we couldn't hear one word...you should look into it.

Re: Ceremony Question
our officiant supplies her own microphone. it's small and pins right onto her robes. we're not having any readers, and i think we'll be close enough to her when we exchange vows that everyone will be able to hear us.

Re: Ceremony Question
we had a microphone that we spoke into--our officiant held it up for us--as we read from our ceremony the vows and such.
DH spoke so low that our family was like 'we can't HEAR you!'
