I so miss my dad and wish he was still here to walk me down the aisle but my step dad has been nothing short of great and will be doing the honour.

my dad and maybe my mom, thats up in the air, i want her to but i also like the traditional look with my dad and then my mom will get to see me come down the aisle.....????

It was touch and go for a bit as to who would be doing this- in the end my great-aunt and her oldest son walked me down.

My great-aunt who's 83 didn't want to do it because she now walks with a cane and she's self consious of it and conciders it to be a weakness. About 5 minutes before we were to walk down, she was ready to back out of walking me down and just would have been her son (my cousin).

Either way it turned out okay but I really didn't need her complaining.
