Ceremony Readings

Can anyone share with me what readings they are using for their ceremony? We are in the process of doing that and need some help. Thanks!

Re: Ceremony Readings

I am using two readings, one is from an apache indian wedding ceremony: one verse form it is: Now you will fel no rain for each of you will be shelter for the other
Bow you will feel no cold for each of you will be warmth for the other.
Now there is no more loniless
Now you are two persons, but there is only one life bvefore you
GO now to your dwelling and enter into your life together
and may your days be good and long upon the earth.

The other is a a poem by mary Carolyn Davis

Re: Ceremony Readings

that's beautiful by the apache indians.
My church only allows very traditional readings so I am using the following - hope it helps!

FIRST READING
“Love is as Strong as Death'
Song of Songs 2:8-10, 14, 16a; 8:6-7a

SECOND READING
“The Greatest of These is Love”
1 Corinthians 12:31-13:8a

The Gospel
“Remain in My Love”
1 John 4:8 and 11
