I'm having trouble choosing ceremony songs for a number of reasons: 1) I'm getting married in a church and the aisle is NOT LONG. 2) I don't want typical songs like Canon in D or The Wedding March…that's just not me. 3) We're using the church organist and he said he can pretty much do whatever song i want (within reason) I can't tell how any of the songs i like will sound on the organ.
What did you choose for your songs and how long are/were they? Did your musician cut the song appropriately to fit the time constraints?
i wanted to do two different songs for my bridal party and for me, but it seems like one song would probably be enough for all of us because of how short the aisle is.
Here are some I am considering: Enya - Watermark A Thousand Years - Christina Peri Angels - Robin Thicke Corner of Your Heart - Ingrid Michaelson All Around Me (Acoustic) - Flyleaf i also chose 2 safe ones: Air on the G String - Bach Always on My Mind (Instrumental) - Steven C Anderson
HELP before i go nuts.

I'm using 'somebody to love' by queen. I cut out the second verse to shorten it. I have a long aisle.
The bridesmaids will walk to 'I wanna hold your hand' but the glee version. There are 7 of them and the flower girl and again the aisle is long.

i am not getting married in a church but i picked out all instrumental music. My wedding party is walking in to A Thousand Years, I agree that would sound really pretty on an organ!

A thousand years- we are using the piano guys version since our ceremony will be at our venue as well and we are using our DJ for music.
we also picked all instrumental (coldplay yellow, one adele song) except the recessional
ETA- yellow is prelude, a thousand years is our song, adele is BP

I am getting married at the RH and I have a long aisle. I will be walking down to Shania Twain - From This Moment (the version where she speaks the vows in the beginning). I haven't decided for sure yet but for the BP it will probably be an instrumental version of Alicia Keys - That's How Strong My Love is.

I got married at my RH. The aisle was not too long. I walked down the aisle to Cece Winans - I Promise (Wedding song). I used my DJ and he cut the music.
