No I'm an LI girl but FH is from Queens. We're getting married in his church bc his whole family got married there (parents, grandparents, aunts, cousins) and it meant a lot to him.

If it makes you feel any better, my ceremony is at 6pm (30 mins) and my CH starts at 7pm. They are in the same building AND we're not even doing photos beforehand...so it leaves us about 15 minutes, if that, for a few group shots...

ceremony at 3pm should last a half hour
about a 20 min drive between church and RH
cocktail hour starts at 6:00pm

my cemerony starts at 1 and my cocktail hour starts at 7 is that too much time in between? We are going to OWG at 3 until 4:30 then to RH for more pics.... is this too long of a day?
Mine is the same I just figure we will have lots of time to take pics =)

11:00am - Hotel 2:00pm - Church 3:30pm - Old Westbury Gardens 7:30pm - 8:30pm - Cocktail Hr 8:30pm - 12:30pm - Reception

Ceremony 4:30pm Cocktail Hour 7pm
We originally had cocktail hour for 6:30 but my photographer told me there wasn't enough time in between for photos. So, we moved the CH. We are taking pictures at our RH. Also, we are skipping the receiving line at the church to gain some time for pictures, since we'll probably be stuck in Friday traffic!

ceremony is at RH... invite will say 6pm, ceremony will start at 6:30, CH at 7pm
