i've been stalking my pastor for 2.5 months to give me a ceremony time. (there's another couple getting married the same day and they reserved the church 1st so i have to work around them). so he finally gives me their time today: 3pm. he said i could either do 1pm or 4:30 pm orrr sometime in the morning. i'm torn bc if i do 1pm then i feel like we might get rushed out of the church but if we do 4:30 then we'll have to do pics before the ceremony. HEELPPPP!! TIA

4:30... it gives you enough time to get ready without having to run around like crazy

Re: ceremony time help
I would totally choose 1pm but thats JMO....my reasoning is because you have more then enough time in between your ceremony and the 3pm people so I don't see you having to be rushed out of there at all. The other reason is because I am old fashion and traditional and I don't wanna see my FH before the church. But if you don't mind seeing him and u want more time to get ready then choose the 4:30. HTH.

Re: ceremony time help
doing pics before the ceremony isn't a terrible thing! we're doing it and i actually like it better! we won't be rushed to take our pics and we will actually get to spend the ch with our guests so we won't have to take as much time during the reception walking around table to table

I voted for 1PM... two hours between weddings is a standard time. I don't think you will be rushed out.

I'd say earlier - you can always run over and make the other girl wait for you!
what time does the reception start? you also want time in between to take pics!

Re: ceremony time help
Then choose a later CH time... just because the ceremony is later doesnt mean you have to see FH before

Then I'd say definitely 4:30 PM. I wouldn't want to feel rushed out of the church. If you have it at 1 PM and you have a full mass, you won't be finished until 2 PM, then you have to do a receiving line and then you want to take pics at the church. And I'm sure the other party wants to come in around 2:30 PM to set up! Just push your CH back so that you don't have to do pics beforehand.

Re: ceremony time help
since you havent chosen the rh time yet, i would choose the 4:30...only thing is to check what times are available to you to start your reception (or ch actually).
if you could start your ch at 7 or later, 4:30 will be just fine to take pics afterward and have plenty of time.
if your rh needs you to begin earlier than 7, i would go with 1 pm to be on the safe side
