Is a 7pm ceremony on a Saturday night too late of a start?
It would be a 7pm Ceremony 7:30-8:30 CH 8:30-12am reception.
Unless we choose to have the ceremony at our Church, then we could do it a little earlier? But not too much earlier so people aren't sitting around, right?

Re: Ceremony/CH/Time on a Saturday night??
I think that's fine. And since it's the summer it will be light out.

Thanks everyone... My parents kept saying it was going to be 'too late' to eat, etc... But, it seems pretty popular...

That's exactly how our timeline is for our Saturday night wedding.

Definitely not too late. My ceremony is starting at 7:30pm, so reception will be 9 - 1am.

For those of you having a fall/winter wedding at that time, what are you doing for pictures? I want to have some pictures in the daylight but the ceremony doesn't start till 8!
