Ceremony/Reception Ideas

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone had some advice on reception halls. I am looking to have an outdoor ceremony in July of 2010. I am looking for a place that has a really nice outside area for a ceremony and a nice ballroom for around 140 guests. If anyone has info on Sat night prices that would be great too!

Hi Jackie. Welcome and congrats. FM me for info, we went to see about 13 places and a lot of them fit your criteria. I can send you pricing as well for the ones we've seen. Good Luck.

FYI..most of the places I called for a Saturday night told me I had to guarantee 200 people. We decided on a Saturday day wedding instead.

I had my wedding in Watermill Caterer. Ceremony was outside, service, food and everything was great.

Old Field Club! They are 110pp for Fridays or Sundays and 130pp for Saturdays.

The minimum for Saturdays is 120 and the hall holds a max of 160 (which would prob be a little tight). 120-140 would probably be perfect.

Chateau Briand has a really beautiful and modern looking outside...I saw it set up for a ceremony and it was breathtaking! They definately have rooms to meet your number. I love Chateau Briand, I might have chosen it if I didnt choose my place.

Im sure everyone else could reccommend a lot more that have areas for outside ceremony.

good luck!!!

North Ritz Club could DEFINITELY accomodate you! They have a gorgeous outdoor area with a pond and a gazebo. But the minimum on a Saturday night there is 200 guests. FM me if you want more details
