What type of music are you going to play during the CH??? I dont have clue if you even play music during that time. I can't afford a violinist (or anything like that) so I dont know what type of music the DJ should play.

Re: CH music
I'm mostly going to leave it up to them...Probably some Sinatra...low key music...I would ask your dj what they recommend.

Re: CH music
We are looking for DJ's right now and since I need them for the ceremony most of them will throw the cocktail hour music in anyway.
Light stuff and not too loud! Michael Buble' Stuff you would find on the lite FM channels
I hate going to weddings and having the music blasting at the CH so you have to scream to someone who is right next to you!

Re: CH music
If we have the DJ do it I think we are going to do stuff like Billy Joel, Elton John, Bette Midler....not too 'elevator music' but not so rowdy either, thats for later!

Re: CH music
The guitarist from our band will play solo with a little amp cuz the CH and actual reception are in two different rooms (obviously they can't be moving equipment around). We're confident in him doing this because he used to play solo at a restaurant me n fh love going to I'm sure your DJ already has a set of music they normally play during CH; just be sure to approve it.
