CH Music?

Is Cocktail Hour music necessary??
Is anyone paying extra for it?

i honestly cant remember if the last wedding i went to had CH music

Will anyone notice if theyre eating with no music for an hour??

I had the same question- check the 'brides helping brides' Some people find it important, some just use a CD, some do nothing at all!

Most DJ's will include this in the package but some people prefer to add different types of music, string quartet, harp, steel drum band ... I guess its up to the couple.

I am going to have it but most people don't realize one way or another. Everyone is busy eating and drinking

Its funny cuz I don't remember CH music either- we were about to spend 1200 on a Jazz Trio, but I'm afraid noone will even remember them...

i dont think its necessary. our dj throws it in for free thats the only reason we are having it

i havent noticed it at all at past weddings... everyone is too busy mingling and stuffin their faces LOL

but we decided on having a steel drum band.... just as more of a mood setter than anything else

i agree... i've never noticed having it. the dj i was looking at included it, so why not?!

I've been to a bunch of weddings with no CH music....we are doing it..we are playing all Halloween music like Monster Mash and Thriller and stuff like that.
