My sister (MOH) and I went to the 'Girls night out' bridal event at the Fortunoff's on 5th Ave. (Not worth the trip there...the bridal survival party last weekend on the island was MUCH better) Afterwards, we went to dinner and walked back to Penn. As we were walking through Times Square, we saw a little trio performing-- A saxophonist, a bassist and a little dancing man. They were fantastic!! There was a group around them cheering and dancing and throwing money into the bass case. I jokingly said to my sister 'I wonder if they do weddings?' After they finished the song, they started handing out business cards! I was surprised because why would a musician that has a business card be playing for money on the streets of Manhattan....
Anyway I took a card and emailed him to see what he would charge to do my CH music.
I don't know how I feel about hiring a street musician though..what do you girls think?

Re: CH music????? -Kinda funny
Some of the 'street' musicians in NYC are very reputable. Def check refs though!! I was considering hiring a steel drum band I found in NYC - they charged to much though... Check em out! What have you got to lose?
