How is it pronounced?

but do you pronounce the CH? Or is the H silent (ie. like 'kie' rhymes with pie)

Starbucks pronounces it Chai not cai or kai or whatever. And we all know Starbucks is always right.

One of the girls who works for me. I want to shoot myself. The reason I asked the question was because she was debating it with another girl and it was getting heated. They decided to take a field trip to Starbucks to find out.

I kept my mouth shut because I was enjoying watching my girl go down in flames because I knew she was wrong. (but wanted to get a consensus to make sure that I wasn't wrong all this time!)

It means tea in Arabic...and I'm sure in other languages out there.

Kevin and I were discussing this a few weeks ago bc we weren't sure and didn't want to sound stupid-o. Wikipedia saved the day!!!
