Chair Covers

Is anybody using chair covers for the reception? I like the look but the quote I just got was 6.75 per chair for plain covers with bow, labor included. Does that sound right?

I am getting them from my hall for 3.50 each including a chiffon bow. I guess it depends on where you order them from and how big your chairs are.

Depends if you get them from the hall or order them from a company that specializes in chair covers. Not that I'm getting them, but my hall would charge me $7 per chair cover, while I saw a company in Long Island Weddings that charges $1.50 per chair cover (I'm sure there's some sort of extra fee though)

OMG - i think i called every company in the world....the cheapest i found them with shipping and handling is 3.40
includes cover and bow and shipping and handling to and from the company location

Do you remember where you got the price for $3.50??? Thats a lot better than $6.75....

I used ABBI for chair cover--I paid $2.50 for the cover and the sash--No fee for shipping and handling. Deb is great!Chair Covers

I know price is HUGE consideration but also keep in mind that if you get the chair covers from somewhere other than your hall, the hall will probably not put them on for you. One of the places I originally looked at said they will not even accept the delivery if we didn't go with their chair covers. I guess the high price is also an 'installation' charge!
Be sure to ask your hall what they will do if you get them on your own.
