Would it be cheaper to rent chair covers from a third party than to have the RH provide them?
I think the RH prices are pretty expensive... Then again, I don't know what third party vendors charge...
Anyone done this before?
Do halls generally allow this? (Guess I should ask)

Does your RH provide them? How much are they charging? It may be cheaper to get them through your RH than from an outside vendor. On another post I read about chair covers someone was charging $9, that is way too much. They should range from $3-5, I believe

Im sucking it up and just using the RH's which I think are about included in a package...that costs extra $$$$

i was asking about this yesterday. i called my RH and they told me $4-$8 per chair, depending on which covers i like.
i thought that sounded crazy so i called around to a few outside vendors. turns out, for covers, sashes, cost to put on, and cost to remove, it'd be a little bit more expensive to hire someone else...unless you want to put them on and take them off yourself...but who wants to worry about that the day of the wedding? not me.
if covers are essential to you (which personally for me they really are) then i would say just pay extra to the RH or see if you can talk them down in $. otherwise if they are not that important to you i'd say forget them.
