its when they charge you a sh*t load of money for the wait staff to march out and pour the champagne in each glass. the alternative is to have the champagne glasses already filled when your guests arrive (this option is free)

We are having that but we aren't paying for it. It was thrown in as an extra.

Re: Champagne March
Yea they included that in our package for free. Personally I think its much nicer than walking into a room and already having your champagne sitting in a glass for only god knows how long

Re: Champagne March
I think its a waste. Alot of people don't really drink all of the Champagne anyway.

Re: Champagne March
the waitstaff does a march in the middle of the dance floor...youre having your reception at JT, last wedding i went o was there, the champage march was ok...not really a big fan of them though, theyre pretty unnecessary.

Re: Champagne March
I went to a wedding at windows on the lake and they did it. The staff walked around the room with trays of champagne to 'marching' music. I though it was really weird and unnecessary! JMO

It's showy, but if you like extravagance do it! It's an extra that makes you feel like a queen.

Re: Champagne March
wait, they march out and pour champagne in every glass? i've never heard of a champagne march before!!!
our hall has champagne w/ strawberries or raspberries waiting for people when they arrive for our ceremony. i think they just have a cart of them and someone to distribute when people walk in.

I've never heard of this before. It sounds kind of weird, almost like something the waiters on a cruise ship would do.

I just checked youtube. There are two brief clips. It's definitely different. I'm not sure I'd want dancing and sliding waiters at my wedding.
