Champagne signature drink?

Champagne signature drink?

I really want to do a signature drink, but my girls dresses are champagne with black sashes. Any ideas for drinks and drink names? I guess i could do Champagntini's with black sugar crystals, and call it the tuxedo martini, but i am not that thrilled about the idea, esp since i don't even like martinis!

I dont think you should worry about the drinks matching the dresses.

My girls dresses are a very deep burgundy. Our signature drink is an apple martini. The only other sign of green incorporated into my wedding, is the carpet in the reception room.

But, if you're looking to 'match' the BM dresses, what about champagne cocktails, or some other drink with champagne as an ingredient??

Not sure if it matches, but my favorite champagne drink is a Bellini.

Yep, I loooove the bellini too! I was thinking of doing it since it has Champagne and peach flavors. YUM!

Every wedding i have been to with signature drinks seemed to match the color of the drink to either the wedding theme or the dress color. My theme turned out being our monogram, and there is a lot of champagne and black running through, so i guess i figured champagne something would be best, but i guess i don't really have to match. Or I could even match the color of the bouquets, which will be either pinks, or reds and creams.

Thanks for the help girlies!

you can associate a signature drink with ANYTHING... how you met, where you met, your new last name, the location of the event. Try to think of other ideas for the signature drink, and THEN see if the color can be adjusted.

I want to have margaritas (burgundy colored) as our signature drink since we met (for the 'official time' at a Mexican restaurant), and call them Ciminoritas to pull in my new last name!

That's adorable, and a great idea! I was thinking of adding his last name into the drink name. The only thing his name would go with would be a martini. I could name it the Clementini, and use some clementine oranges, or regular oranges lol, because seriously, who the hell would know the difference! lol

Exactly! I don't think you'll get in 'trouble' for adding 'tini' to something that's NOT a martini! lol. This project could be fun! Break out the alcohol and EXPERIMENT, BABY! Try flavored vodkas, if you want to try to stick to a vodka recipe. If not, go with Malibu Rum, oranges and pineapple juice... GOD that sounds so good! Can you invite me over to try some out? lol!!!

Did you ever see that episode of Rosanne, where Becky calls a friend over to study and they get into the liquor cabinet and start mixing drinks? Ah the flashbacks lol.

Re: Champagne signature drink?

You could put a few black tapioca balls into the bellini, that would give you black/champagne. Like those bubble teas that are so popular, they tend to sink to the bottom and look cool. Maybe call them bubbellinis

PS where do they sell good bubble teas on the island? I have only come across them in the City, and the place I go to is kind of far.

I'm actually having a champagne themed wedding (I was going to go with a vineyard theme but it just didn't fot right with my RH).

I will be having champagne signature drinks...
Kir Royals (kir which is a sweet French liquor mixed with dry champagne). It gives it a nice blush color.

champagne punch and maybe hot tubs which is a cosmo with a splash of champagne.

We're doing ours for where we work. He works for glaceau vitaminwater so we will have a PowerC martini and I work for Godiva so we'll have a godiva chocolate martini.
I am also having champagne dresses so it doesn't really match. I think it can either match or be something that is significant to you.
