Has anybody been to a wedding where there was a champagne station? If so, what exactly was it?

Re: champagne station?
If I am correct its like a little cart or table with champagne and strawberries at the front entrance for guests to have as they arrive at the hall ( esp. if they are early and not able to ented the CH yet it give them something to do)

Re: champagne station?
At Oheka they do the strawberries and champagne thing. They also had bellinis.
At a party at the Rainbow Room that I went to, they did the same thing (minus the strawberries) and they had some other kind of champagne drink like a bellini.

Re: champagne station?
I went to a wedding a russos on the bay that had it.
It was a nice touch.
As you came in or if you got there early they you could choose the type of champagne and berries to drink as you waited. It was really very nice.
I am actually looking into it for my wedding to see how much $$$ extra it would be

Re: champagne station?
My hall does it too. I remember when we were booking quite a few places told us they do so I think it's starting to be a little more popular. I've never been to a wedding that had a champagne station but I'm sure I'd love it.
