Champagne wedding gown-need your help

Hi Girls,
I need your help, I just ordered my gown and I got it in a Champagne color. Now the original gown that I wanted for the BM (mocha color) will clash with my gown. I was wondering what colors you think would go well with a champagne wedding gown for a summer wedding.

most colors go well with champagne...think of champagne with fruits....when you sip it, it makes it sweeter...that's why i am going with bright colors...i don't know if it makes sense, but bright pinks and vibrant blues work every well.....surround yourself with color!

I was thinking that I may go with a lavender but was afraid that the undertone of silver may conflict. I really like the cranberry but think it is too dark for the summer.

I woouldnt go with silver that would clash -- but any nice Gem color would look great

there are some materials that are shot with a golden undertone....if you like cranberry, go one or two shades lighter and you will have the perfect color. you are right about the hue of cranberry...it has brownish undertones that work well with champagne....

it's a pretty color, but i think you would stand out more with the girls in something brighter. that color is almost TOO similar to yours (has a little too much brownish tones to me)

what about these colors of the same dress?

I like the first one and I think that is the saphire color isn't it?
My sister said she would not be caught dead in pink! (She has super red hair and was really adamant about the pink)

I like the purple and saphire and think that is the color but wanted to get confirmation that it wont clash with champagne( it is a darke champagne) I wish I had a darn pic to show you! ARGHHH

you're welcome love. I JUST figured out my color scheme (it's hard with ivory/champagne dresses in the spring/summer i know!

here is a link to a fabric website that has color swatch cards. check it out...see what colors call your name... once you figure it out, go to the stores and ask to see the dresses...it is VERY hard to tell tones over the computer!

by the way, my color scheme is the front page of this months Bride's magaginze (stormy blue green and bright pink)

I have a champaigne colored gown and Im usinng pink (mauve) for my bridesmaids.

my dress is ivory, but my bm are wearing champagne. i have my moh wearing taupe. if u want to stay neutral, i think its a great choice.

SAME BOAT over here! I was set on blue tones for the girls and flowers, but now that I found my dress, it has beige and gold undertones. I am now leaning towars a 'Rum pink' or coral.

I found some great BM colors in the newest issue of Modern Bride.
