change of date

change of date

i know this is a new one but i want to move my date up!!!! what should i do?

The first thing I'd do is check to see what your RH's policy is. They may charge you a hefty fee for switching, or they may not let you switch unless someone wants to take your date. Then I would think about all of the other vendors you've booked (if there are any). Will they be available?

We thought about moving our date up (we are having a two year engagement) but ultimately decided it wouldn't financially be worth it.

Check with your reception hall. When FH & I move our date from 2010 to 2009 we didn't charge a fee. Thank God for our nice banquet manager! If they have the available dates that you are looking for, I am sure they can accomodate you.

I'm sure it's easier for halls to bend on moving dates up because those dates are less likely to be filled by someone else.. but def call your hall and vendors to check their policy before committing to change any of them

Check with your RH, it might be very easy to do! Depending on when you want to switich it to, they might not care at all. Especially because it is far enough away.
