Legally I'm hyphenating it because my sister and I are the last two with our name. But I'll go by his last name.

Think I'm doing the same. I am the only one left with my last name besides my Dad. People have mispelled and mispronounced my first and last name my whole life, but FH's last name is italian but always mispronounced too so I'm just screwed. lol

im taking his last name which will be easier for people to pronounce and spell. but im going to miss mine alot becaue its a long unique italian name. but w/FHs name i still get to keep my ethnicity.

I am taking his last name. It is longer, not italian, and my students laugh at it when I tell them. BUT the real way to pronounce it sounds nice. So FH said I can tell people the ethnic way to say it (not the americanized way) and that makes me happy!!
Even though I am not thrilled about the last name, I love that we will have the same name and be a family!
