Well, after many objections about our original date of August 30th 2009 from family members whose kids have to start school the next day, we decided to change our date to August 9th, 2009. So that means in 2 years from today I'll be married!!!

We were actually debating between 8/2 and 8/9, but FH thought 8/9/09 sounded cool...whatever makes him happy I guess! haha

You're gonna laugh at why I picked the 2nd instead... So the #2 is like always somewhere in our lives.. its our anniversary (2.2.01)... the day we quit smoking (1.2.07)... and the day he proposed (5.12.07) Anyways, I always say FH is my best friend and 8.2.09 happens to be national friendship day so I thought that was really cool and just 'meant to be'

Aw well that's cute!! I didn't know that was national friendship day! I probably would have done the same day then! haha. Are you having your ceremony at a church? I'm trying to take care of that part this week.

Excellent date choice!! I'm so excited I finally have a date twin! We actually wanted 9-9-09 because our anniversary in 9-9-99, but it was during the week and I got the same kind of grief from the family with the kids being in school in september!
