It was soooo easy! DH and I were at SS for about 25 minutes. Then we decided to brave the DMV which was packed, but only waited about 30 minutes at most. It's a little bittersweet. I am so excited to take DH's name, but to lose the name you've had for sooo long is a little sad.

congrats!!!!! I can't wait to get that done with, but we haven't even gotten our certificate yet - I hear NYC is backed up and can take up to nine weeks.
