changes at coindre hall?

Have any of you heard anything about Coindre Hall's new leadership?

Apparently they've changed leadership, and my dad is concerned that it will be a mess and doesn't want us to look there because he thinks by the time of our wedding (Oct 2007) the place will be kind of run down.

(my dad got this information because of volunteer work he's done with other local mansion/park type places, so it comes from a credible source)

I had an appointment to go look there this Saturday, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. I think I might go anyway, even if just so I can have one more place for comparison.

Also, I figured those of you who hadn't yet picked a hall might want to know, and if any of you have booked Coindre Hall, you might want to find out what's going on...

No, Lessings is a caterer that does weddings there. They don't oversee the actual facility. I believe there are actually several caterers who do weddings there.

Technically speaking, it's a Suffolk County park, but there was an organization that was running it that I think has now backed out and somebody new is taking over.... something like that.
