Changing ceiling fan blades?

I cannot believe how hard this can be

I have a whole jungle theme going so i thought a palm leaf fan would be perfect...



but for $300 bucks I though hey why not use the existing fan the previous owners left.

THis company 'Econ' has supposedly gone out of business

I still wan tot see if a blade may fit before I shell out the cash for a new fan when the one I have works fine but i just dont know if this is a losing battle....

Anyone ever do this?
