Changing last name

I got a deal from Weddingchannel.com that is $10 for all the forms and info needed for name changing.

Is it really that difficult of a process that I need to pay $10 for the information??

I'm definitely getting one of those kits when the time comes. I love things that are organized! And that way I'm sure I've changed it everywhere.

i heard its a pain in the butt to do it but never heard of a kit or anything, but maybe i just never heard the full story or how to lol

I do not think I am going to get a kit.

Basically you go to the SS office first and then change everything that has your name now to your new name.

In the age of computers I am sure you can find the information online pretty easily.

This...when i was married first time went to social security and dmv that was it, everything else was bills really and just changed on payment stub but im sure now you can do online.
