after miss jesaroo changed her whole theme to a fall theme, which i must admit after seeing a whole bunch of fall stuff online, i really love it lol
it got me thinking about my own theme. i was so set on doing a beach theme. but then i fell in love with light purple dresses and purple flowers, the whole beach thing just doesn't seem to go anymore. i think it would be fine with blues/greens etc so i'm thinking of just not having a theme, but just a color scheme.
you don't need a theme right? or do people look for that?

honestly i have never been to a wedding with a theme...we were originally going to do a beach theme ...but i love red ...so we are just sticking to the colors

I dont think u need a theme. I wasnt going to have one until I did fall...I love purple though!!

nope the dresses aren't bought yet, and i'm not as nice as you, they are paying for their own dresses lol.
i've loved purple my whole life. i love the beach too but it just doesn't work w/ the purple.

Place card holders small snowflakes on invitation snowflake coasters and wine stoppers for favors small snowflakes on table #s m- garter
thats it its not like ALL over
the invitation wont be at the wedding the- wont get the favors until the end of the night when the- give out the bags no one sees m- garter except FH so at the actual wedding its just the place card holders and table #'s

Im not having a color theme so to speak. Just my favors probably to go with the fact we are gettiing married at a country club (golf theme favors) but I havent decided just yet.

ditto my snowflake theme is just on the invitations and table numbers really. . .i am not even using them on the favors . . .
i guess my theme is my color but not really bc its just hte BM dresses, they are in royal blue and my CPs and BoKs are in accent colors ( pink and white )
so really, my wedding is all over the fricken place

i think that purple is a great color to work with. You def. don't need a theme.. lots of people don't do themes.. i think it's more or less just a way to tie things in with one another which you can do with colors.. so no biggie

well i am using purples and blues and the wedding is on the beach....so i guess you kinda can do it. I am not having a theme. Just having fun

You don't have to have a theme. We have one (obvil.) , but it's just because we like it. We've been to weddings w/o themes more than we've been to weddings w/ themes.
